In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of creating and customizing tickets on TicketingHub to suit your unique tour operations.

Understanding Key Components


Before we delve into creating tickets, let's clarify the main components you'll be dealing with in the backend of your TicketingHub account:

Tickets: These represent the various types of tickets you sell, such as Adult, Child, Senior, or Student tickets. These can also represent ticket formats like E-ticket, Group Ticket, Early Bird, or Advance Ticket.
Ticket Categories: This feature allows you to modify prices and advanced features of tickets. Examples include Standard Tickets, VIP Tickets, or Group Tickets.
Extras: Extras represent upselling opportunities or additional products you can sell alongside your tickets. For instance, a light breakfast after a yoga tour or a souvenir shirt from your zoo tours could be considered Extras.
Questions: These are queries that customers need to answer to complete a booking. For example, you may need to know if a food tour customer has certain allergies, or if a multi-day tour guest has any special requests or preferences.


Creating Tickets: A Step-by-Step Guide


To create a new ticket, simply follow these steps:

1. Log in to your TicketingHub Account


Open your TicketingHub account and log in using your credentials.



2. Access Your Product


Navigate to your products, see left side of your dashboard and Click on Products.



3. Start Creating Tickets


Each product represents the tour you are selling. Here you can customize your tour tickets, update availability and rates, customize e-mail templates you send, and more settings related to this specific tour.



To create tickets, go to the Tickets Tab und click on ‘Create New Ticket’



4. Fill in the Details


This includes the ticket name, price, and any other relevant information.

Enter the necessary details according to your tour type.

Make sure to fill-in all the necessary boxes to complete creating tickets.


5. Customize ticket features





Under the 'Tickets' section, you'll find options to customize further features of your tickets:

Ticket Categories
Extras
Questions

Fill in these sections according to the specifics of your tour type.


Implementing Seasonal Pricing


TicketingHub allows you to adjust ticket prices according to the season with the 'Seasonal Pricing' feature. You can find this option in the 'Tickets' tab.


Adjusting your pricing based on season can help optimize your revenue throughout the year.
